Well Norm wanted a few things pointed out, and I can hardly blame him. This reveiw made him look like a drunken, inarticulate idiot, and he is none of those things.

First of all, this guy did not identify himself as a reporter. His website exists as "a place of one-stop shopping for everything entertainment." Plus, he posted the same review to another entertainment website. One which explicitly calls its contributors "reporters". The guy knows on some level that he is acting as a reporter and should be identifying himself as such, especially if he's going to be talking to members of bands and quoting them online.

Look, we don't care that he doesn't like our band. Frankly, I'm surprised whenever anyone DOES like us. We play this nerdy music-geek stuff that has not fit anyone's description of hip, ever. But we just thought this guy was a friend of the Dollyrots, taking pictures of the gig. He and Norm were talking amicably in a corner when I left the venue. What a jerk.

We are of course planning to wear grass skirts at the next show. In his honor.
